Jesus Christ on Mount of Olives
From this place - the Mount of Olives, we
learn His disciples came to Jesus asking when the end of all things
would be. And it was here on the Mount, where Jesus quietly sat and
calmly unfolded His eschatological teaching declaring everything needed
to know about "the sign of times and seasons".
St. Bernardo Tolomei Founder of the Olivetan Benedictine Order
Bernardo Tolomei (1272-1348), founder of the
Olivetan Benedictine Order, was canonized at St. Peter's, Rome by Pope
Benedict XVI on April 26, 2009 making him St. Bernardo Tolomei.[4]
On the 26th March 1319 Tolomei was given a Decree authorising him to build the future monastery of Santa Maria di Monte Oliveto, near Asciano, Italy. Fodor's Review of Abbazia di Monte Oliveto Maggiore states "Tuscany's most-visited abbey sits in an oasis of olive and cypress trees amid the harsh landscape of Le Crete." The illustration of St. Bernardo Tolomei appears to show three large olives with two small olive branches sprouting on top.

ST. Benedict of Nursia on the Last Days
The Glory of the Olive. The Order of St.
Benedict has said this Pope will come from their order. It is
interesting that Jesus gave his apocalyptic prophecy about the end of
time from the Mount of Olives. This Pope will reign during the beginning
of the tribulation Jesus spoke of. The 111th prophesy is "Gloria
Olivae" (The Glory of the Olive). The Order of Saint Benedict has
claimed that this pope will come from their ranks. Saint Benedict
himself prophesied that before the end of the world his Order, known
also as the Olivetans, will triumphantly lead the Catholic Church in its
fight against evil.

Pope Leo XIII Foresees the Future of the Papacy

15. But against the apostolic see and the Roman Pontiff the contention of these enemies has been for a long time directed. The Pontiff was first, for specious reasons, thrust out from the bulwark of his liberty and of his right, the civil princedom; soon, he was unjustly driven into a condition which was unbearable because of the difficulties raised on all sides; and now the time has come when the partisans of the sects openly declare, what in secret among themselves they have for a long time plotted, that the sacred power of the Pontiffs must be abolished, and that the papacy itself, founded by divine right, must be utterly destroyed. If other proofs were wanting, this fact would be sufficiently disclosed by the testimony of men well informed, of whom some at other times, and others again recently, have declared it to be true of the Freemasons that they especially desire to assail the Church with irreconcilable hostility, and that they will never rest until they have destroyed whatever the supreme Pontiffs have established for the sake of religion.
Alta Vendita on their Ideal Pope
The documents written between 1820 and
1846, had been circulated to members of the Alta Vendita, which was the
supreme lodge of a condemned Italian secret society, the Carbonari.
Father E. Cahill, S.J., wrote that the Alta Vendita was "commonly
supposed to have been at the time the governing center of European Freemasonry."
Pope Pius IX asked Cretineau-Joly to publish the papers, which he did
in THE CHURCH AND REVOLUTION. Pope Pius IX guaranteed their authenticity
in a letter of approbation sent to the author on February 25, 1861.
Below is an important part of THE PERMANENT INSTRUCTION OF THE ALTA VENDITA:
"Our ultimate end is that of Voltaire and of the French Revolution----the final destruction of Catholicism, and even of the Christian idea. The Pope, whoever he is, will never come to the secret societies; it is up to the secret societies to take the first step toward the Church, with the aim of conquering both of them. The task that we are going to undertake is not the work of a day, or of a month, or of a year; it may last several years, perhaps a century; but in our ranks the soldier dies and the struggle goes on.
We do not intend to win the Popes to our cause, to make them neophytes of our principles, propagators of our ideas. That would be a ridiculous dream; and if events turn out in some way, if Cardinals or prelates, for example, of their own free will or by surprise, should enter into a part of our secrets this is not at all an incentive for desiring their elevation to the See of Peter. That elevation would ruin us. Ambition alone would have led them to apostasy, the requirements of power would force them to sacrifice us. What we must ask for, what we should look for and wait for, as the Jews wait for the Messiah, is a Pope according to our needs.
With that we shall march more securely towards the assault on the Church than with the pamphlets of our brethren in France and even the gold of England. Do you want to know the reason for this? It is that with this, in order to shatter the high rock on which God has built His Church, we no longer need Hannibalian vinegar, or need gunpowder, or even need our arms. We have the little finger of the successor of Peter engaged in the ploy, and this little finger is as good, for this crusade, as all the Urban II's and all the Saint Bernards in Christendom.
We have no doubt that we will arrive at the supreme end of our efforts. But when? But how? The unknown is not yet revealed. Nevertheless, as nothing should turn us aside from the plan drawn up, and on the contrary everything should tend to this, as if as early as tomorrow success were going to crown the work that is barely sketched, we wish, in this instruction, which will remain secret for the mere initiates, to give the officials in charge of the supreme lodge some advice that they should instill in all the brethren, in the form of instruction or of a memorandum.
Now, then to assure ourselves a Pope of the required dimensions, it is a question first of shaping for this Pope a generation worthy of the reign we are dreaming of. Leave old people and those of a mature age aside; go to the youth, and if it is possible, even to the children. You will contrive for yourselves, at little cost, a reputation as good Catholics and pure patriots.
This reputation will put access to our doctrines into the midst of the young clergy, as well as deeply into the monasteries. In a few years, by the force of things, this young clergy will have overrun all the functions; they will form the sovereign's council they will be called to choose a Pontiff who should reign. And this Pontiff, like most of his contemporaries, will be necessarily more or less imbued with the (revolutionary) Italian and humanitarian principles that we are going to begin to put into circulation. It is a small grain of black mustard that we are entrusting to the ground; but the sunshine of justice will develop it up to the highest power, and you will see one day what a rich harvest this small seed will produce.
In the path that we are laying out for our brethren there are found great obstacles to conquer, difficulties of more than one kind to master. They will triumph over them by experience and by clearsightedness; but the goal is so splendid that it is important to put all the sails to the wind in order to reach it. Your want to revolutionize Italy; look for the Pope whose portrait we have just drawn. You wish to establish the reign of the chosen ones on the throne of the prostitute of Babylon; let the clergy march under your standard, always believing that they are marching under the banner of the Apostolic keys. You intend to make the last vestige of tyrants and oppressors disappear; lay your snares (nets) like Simon Bar-Jona; lay them in the sacristies, the seminaries and the monasteries rather than at the bottom of the sea; and if you do not hurry, we promise you a catch more miraculous than his. St. Maximilian Kolbe vs Freemasonry
On October 16, 1917, while still a student friar in Rome, St. Maximilian founded the association of Catholic faithful known as the Militia Immaculatae ( Knights of the Immaculata movement ) Its purpose was Catholic evangelism under the sponsorship of Mary, the Immaculata and Woman Full of Grace. The immediate stimulus for this was St. Maximilian's desire to combat the militant naturalism of International Freemasonry which was celebrating its second centenary that year. He has personally witnessed Masonic activists demonstrating and blaspheming under the very windows of the Vatican.

In
the New Testament, Jesus Christ, Our Lord, said: "And there shall be
signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth
distress of nations, by reason of the confusion of the roaring of the
sea and of the waves; Men withering away for fear, and expectation of
what shall come upon the whole world. For the powers of heaven shall be
moved." (Lk. 21: 25-26) That is an infallible prophesy.
Speaking of comet prophecies, here is another one from St. Hildegard of Bingen (d. 1179 A.D.):
"Before the Comet comes, many nations, the good excepted, will be scoured with want and famine. The great nation in the ocean that is inhabited by people of different tribes and descent by an earthquake, storm and tidal waves will be devastated. It will be divided, and in great part submerged. That nation will also have many misfortunes at sea, and lose its colonies in the east through a Tiger and a Lion."
"The Comet by its tremendous pressure, will force much out of the ocean and flood many countries, causing much want and many plagues. All sea coast cities will be fearful and many of them will be destroyed by tidal waves, and most living creatures will be killed and even those who escape will die from a horrible disease. For in none of these cities does a person live according to the laws of God."
The Prophecy of St. Francis
Shortly before he died, St. Francis of Assisi called together his followers and warned them of the coming troubles, which are now upon us in this time of great tribulation. He prophesied:
The time is fast approaching in which there will be great trials and afflictions; perplexities and dissensions, both spiritual and temporal, will abound; the charity of many will grow cold, and the malice of the wicked will increase.
The devils will have unusual power, the immaculate purity of our Order, and of others, will be so much obscured that there will be very few Christians who will obey the true Sovereign Pontiff and the Roman Church with loyal hearts and perfect charity. At the time of this tribulation a man, not canonically elected, will be raised to the Pontificate, who, by his cunning, will endeavour to draw many into error and death.
Then scandals will be multiplied, our Order will be divided, and many others will be entirely destroyed, because they will consent to error instead of opposing it.
There will be such diversity of opinions and schisms among the people, the religious and the clergy, that, except those days were shortened, according to the words of the Gospel, even the elect would be led into error, were they not specially guided, amid such great confusion, by the immense mercy of God.
Then our Rule and manner of life will be violently opposed by some, and terrible trials will come upon us. Those who are found faithful will receive the crown of life; but woe to those who, trusting solely in their Order, shall fall into tepidity, for they will not be able to support the temptations permitted for the proving of the elect.
Those who preserve in their fervour and adhere to virtue with love and zeal for the truth, will suffer injuries and, persecutions as rebels and schismatics; for their persecutors, urged on by the evil spirits, will say they are rendering a great service to God by destroying such pestilent men from the face of the earth. but the Lord will be the refuge of the afflicted, and will save all who trust in Him. And in order to be like their Head, [Jesus Christ] these, the elect, will act with confidence, and by their death will purchase for themselves eternal life; choosing to obey God rather than man, they will fear nothing, and they will prefer to perish rather than consent to falsehood and perfidy.
Some preachers will keep silence about the truth, and others will trample it under foot and deny it. Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Jesus Christ will send them not a true pastor but a destroyer.”
